Job Summary
A great mining company in Johannesburg, Gauteng is seeking the expertise of a Geology Manager to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Practical experience in the implementation of International Health and Safety standards in alignment with relevant legislation and guided by the MSA Health and Safety committee
- Understanding of the life cycle of mining projects and the commercial and technical drivers for our clients positioned at various stages along this lifecycle
- Demonstrable track record in the execution and management of exploration projects
- Providing mineral exploration services, large scale mapping and sampling programs in support of national geoscientific initiatives
- Responsible for the management and co-ordination of mineral exploration projects internationally
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Post-Graduate Degree in Geology
- 8 10 years experience in a mining environment
- Minimum 3 years at Manager level
