Job Summary

Our client is currently recruiting for an Integration Specialist. This role will expose you to a diverse working environment and the opportunity to connect with other individuals in the organization within the banking space. This is a contract vacancy. Location: Hybrid, Johannesburg Duration: Contract-based We are looking for an experienced Integration Specialist with a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of integration technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality solutions. Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience working as an Integration Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment. Proficiency in integration technologies such as API management platforms, ESBs (Enterprise Service Bus), iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service), and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Hands-on experience with programming languages commonly used in integration projects, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Strong understanding of data formats and protocols commonly used in integration scenarios, including JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and GraphQL. Experience with cloud-based integration platforms and services, such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, or AWS Lambda. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in integration environments. Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively in a team environment. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Certification in relevant integration technologies or platforms is a plus. Develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions to meet client requirements, utilizing a variety of integration technologies and platforms. Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate requirements into technical specifications for integration solutions. Design, configure, and optimize integration workflows to ensure efficient data exchange between systems and applications. Perform system integration testing to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of integration solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration processes, including data transformation errors, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks. Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders throughout the integration lifecycle. Document integration solutions, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and troubleshooting procedures. Stay up-to-date on emerging integration technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve our integration capabilities. Participate in regular meetings with clients to review project status, discuss requirements, and address any concerns or questions. Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that integration solutions are completed on time and within budget.
