Job Summary
Key Responsibilities Design and Planning Develop interior architectural designs, concepts, and space planning. Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and renderings using software such as Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Select materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that meet project requirements and client preferences. Project Management Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project execution. Prepare project timelines, budgets, and schedules. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and standards. Client Interaction Conduct client meetings to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Present design concepts and proposals to clients for approval. Provide ongoing client support and address any issues or changes during the project lifecycle. Technical Proficiency Prepare construction documents, specifications, and detailed drawings. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant standards. Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with design intent and quality standards. Collaboration and Coordination Work closely with architects, engineers, and other consultants to integrate interior design with architectural and structural components. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors for material procurement and installation. Research and Development Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies. Participate in professional development opportunities and continuous learning. Qualifications Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Architecture. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interior architecture or design. Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Excel and other design software. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and materials. Design Skills: Excellent design and spatial planning abilities with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work within budget constraints. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration. Preferred Attributes Creative and innovative mindset. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Strong organizational and time management skills. Working Conditions Primarily office-based office hour Mon – Fri 8am – 5 pm with regular site visits.
