Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: o Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and oversee stock replenishment. o Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent shortages. o Monitor stock levels to anticipate project demands and optimize storage efficiency. Material Handling: o Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials with meticulous attention to quality and quantity. o Safely handle materials during loading, unloading, and storage processes. o Ensure the warehouse is organized and adheres to safety standards. Order Fulfilment and Procurement: o Prepare and dispatch orders accurately and timely to meet project requirements. o Coordinate with procurement to source materials, ensuring timely availability and competitive pricing. o Manage supplier relationships to secure favourable terms and maintain stock availability. Fleet and Machinery Management: o Schedule and oversee maintenance, repairs, and operational readiness of company vehicles. o Maintain records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance history. o Ensure all vehicles and machinery comply with safety regulations. Daily Updates and Project Coordination: o Provide daily updates on material usage and labour force allocation for ongoing projects. o Coordinate with project managers to track progress, adjust inventory levels, and forecast future material needs. o Communicate effectively with teams to optimize resource allocation and ensure project timelines are met. Safety and Compliance: o Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. o Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards promptly. Skills and Qualifications: Experience: o Proven experience in warehouse management, procurement, and fleet management. o Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement processes. o Strong background in logistics and material handling. Skills: o Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. o Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. o Proficient in using warehouse equipment and inventory software. o Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Personal Attributes : o Dependable and punctual, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. o Collaborative team player who fosters a positive work environment.
