Job Summary
Reporting to Head of Finance Shared Service, and Group Finance, the incumbent is responsible for the treasury and taxation function of the companys Africa region as well as responsibility for the global group tax function. The role will therefore have dual reporting lines
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Accounting software Accpac/Pastel/Palbroker D365, Finnivo will be advantageous
- Knowledge of tax submissions, VAT PAYE
- Ability to understand articulate tax risk to the Group and shape effective tax strategy
- Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards experiences advantageous
Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Leadership and people skill
Qualifications/Experience:
- Qualified CA (SA)
- Tax qualification will be advantageous.
- Must be studying towards a Tax qualification/willing to study
- Have a detailed understanding of the SA tax laws and regulations
- Have an understanding of international tax
- Computer literate MS Office (Excel Advance)
- Valid drivers license
