Job Summary
Job Purpose: To assist the Head: with the management and reconciliation of the Accounts by ensuring that the daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations are being performed across all product classes and all systems as required. Ensuring resolution of reconciliation breaks within set out time frames. Key
Responsibilities:
Source, analyse and prepare reports Reconciliation of Cash Cover, collateral, Call and Margin accounts Reduce and report Operational Risk Ensure satisfactory audit Stakeholder relationship management Deliver in terms of agreed SLA(S) across the Group; Manage the operational relationship with the client and in need escalate to management for assistance Technical Competencies: Controls Applications: Microsoft Office Suite ISO9001 Required Experience Corporate Banking 3-4 Years Good working knowledge of the mechanics of reconciliations High level ability to work with Excel including Pivot tables Understanding of Balance Sheet Substantiation Daily review of Cash and Position reconciliation Management Information dashboards Previous experience in a Global Markets Reconciliations area recommended. Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships in functions external to the teams at a supervisory level Required Qualifications B Comm or equivalent tertiary level education. CDCS or similar Trade qualification
