Job title/position: Southern Africa SAP S/4HANA Platform Architect Senior Manager Function and Business Unit: Digital Consultant Description of the role and purpose of the job: As the Senior Manager in Platform and Cloud Architecture within our Digital Consulting business unit, you play a pivotal role in architecting and deploying cutting-edge cloud solutions for our clients, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA and other cloud platforms. This role demands a visionary leader with deep expertise in cloud computing, platform architecture, and digital transformation strategies, alongside exceptional client engagement and project delivery skills. Key responsibilities: Strategic Cloud Oversight: Lead the development and execution of cloud architecture strategies, ensuring alignment with client goals and our firm`s digital transformation agenda. Cloud Solution Design and Deployment: Architect and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions, incorporating SAP S/4HANA and other leading cloud technologies to enhance business processes and operational efficiency. Advanced Cloud Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of cloud projects, from initial planning and architecture design to deployment and optimization, with a focus on innovation and excellence. Client Relationship and Cloud Advocacy: Drive cloud consulting business development, establishing and nurturing key relationships, and advocating for cloud adoption and digital transformation across the client base. Leadership in Cloud Innovation : Serve as a cloud thought leader, mentoring a team of cloud architects and consultants, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and technological advancement. Ensure the successful delivery of data migration and governance projects, achieving client satisfaction and impactful business outcomes. Elevate our firm`s stature as a premier consultant in data transformation and governance. Stimulate innovation and growth within the digital consulting business unit. Skills and attributes required for the role: Skills: Over 10 years of experience in cloud computing and digital consulting, with a significant focus on platform and cloud architecture, including SAP S/4HANA cloud implementations. Demonstrated success in leading cloud architecture projects and digital transformation initiatives within a Big 4 or equivalent consulting environment. Leadership experience in directing cross-functional teams and managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, with professional certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) highly preferred Personal attributes: Expert knowledge of cloud computing, SAP S/4HANA, and platform architecture principles. Ability to strategize and execute digital transformation projects with a focus on cloud solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
