Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Blasting Certificate/Equivalent MQA qualification in Surface Mining
- Mine Overseer Certificate or NQF 6 Diploma in Mining
- Certificate in Explosives Engineering
- Mine Managers Certificate would be advantageous
- 8 years relevant experience
Responsibilities:
Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective load and haul operations (including dumping and construction) in order to achieve the operations production targets as per the mine plan, which includes but is not limited to:
- Operations management
- SHERQ (Safety Health Environment Risk and Quality)
- Contractor management
- Budget and cost control
- People management and leadership
- Continuous improvement
