Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s client, a leading mining company in the Northern Cape is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Pit Supervisor to join their mining team. As a Pit Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the mining operations and ensuring the safe and efficient extraction of minerals.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all mining activities, including drilling, blasting, and extraction of minerals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor production processes and equipment performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to maximize production output.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiency and achieve production targets.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 5 years` experience in Opencast/Surface Mining.
- 2 years` supervisory experience.
- Valid Blasting Certificate (Opencast/Surface)
- Experience with loading and hauling in open pit mining environment.
