Job Summary
Job Description:
Cranes Millwright is responsible for all Engineering First Line Maintenance, Daily Inspections and Repairs in their assigned section in the plant area. The task they perform must at all times be focused to improve production and product quality and to eliminate breakdowns. When a breakdown occurs, they will be the first line of defense and must ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum.

Requirements:
- Be qualified as a millwright and minimum N3 or Matric with Maths & Science
- Be pro-active, hardworking and demonstrate high levels of flexibility
- Be able to work under pressure and give attention to detail
- Be able to work without direct supervision
- Be a strong team player, be bilingual and have excellent communication skills
- Have a good mechanical, electrical/electronic and instrument knowledge
- Be computer literate
- Have three to five years post apprentice work experience as a millwright
- Be physically fit and not afraid of confined spaces and heights
- Be willing to work overtime as requested
- Must be willing to do standby
- Have extensive knowledge of electrical circuits
- LMI certification or studying towards its completion will be added advantage
