Summary:
Hire Resolve`s client is seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Millwright to join their team in the Mining Industry in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our mining operations.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair mining equipment and machinery, including conveyors, crushers, pumps, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address any mechanical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime and reduce the risk of breakdowns
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance
• Work closely with the maintenance team to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work and repairs for future reference

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Trade certificate as a Millwright
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Shift Millwright in the mining industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment used in the mining industry
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
