Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our sales engineering team as an Application Engineer. This role is pivotal in servicing existing clients and engaging with potential new clients. You will be instrumental in gathering technical requirements, developing detailed requirement specifications, and crafting customer proposals and quotations. Your technical expertise will guide projects from initial client interaction through to the successful commissioning of equipment.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with management to enhance customer service and develop new business opportunities.
- Customer and site visits to collect all necessary technical details and requirements from customers to accurately define project scopes.
- Prepare comprehensive requirement specifications and ensure clear communication with the design team.
- Develop and present tailored proposals and quotations to clients.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring a smooth installation and commissioning process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in industrial machinery or related fields is advantageous but not required.
- Applicants with post graduate experience of less than 2 years will be considered.
- Strong ability to learn on the job and adapt to new challenges.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
