Job Summary
RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a trade tested and experienced TRADE TESTED MILLWRIGHT for a large, well-established manufacturing concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. JOB DESCRIPTION Grade 12. Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Trade tested Millwright. Competent computer skills (Email / MS Office). 5yrs previous working experience as a qualified Millwright. PLC and VSD experience advantageous. Induction furnace experience advantageous. Normal and preventative maintenance of hydraulic systems (presses, formers, pultrusion and injection moulding). Normal and preventative maintenance of electrical systems (distribution panels, control panels, heating and cooling systems and electrical circuitry). Normal and preventative maintenance of mechanical equipment (gearboxes, pumps, chain drives, couplings and alignment). Fault finding and breakdown/emergency repairs (electrical and mechanical). Basic welding and boilermaking experience. Technical assistance to production and maintenance teams. Be part of continuous improvement. Implement planned maintenance and counter measures. Assistance with machine changeover and start-ups when require.
