Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Control Systems Technician to join their company Minimum Required Qualification Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering Siemens PLC software, SCADA/SQL Training Certificate Minimum 3 years relevant experience & knowledge in chemical/process industry (of which 18 months Siemens PLC software, SCADA development) Preferred Qualification Degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering Project Management Certificate Required Skills and Competencies SQL knowledge Automation project experience Experience in commissioning variable speed drives Excellent analytical, planning, organizing, verbal & written communication and reasoning skills Works in a goal result and customer – oriented manner. Considers economic aspects (quality, quantity, time, costs) Works independently and takes full accountability for assigned tasks Deals effectively with challenging situations and pays high attention to detail Shows an open attitude towards change and is willing to adapt to changing priorities, process conditions and circumstances Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Ability and willingness to learn new skills Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company (includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others from diverse backgrounds and points of view to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts) Complies with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment Availability to work during non-scheduled hours Should we not respond within 2 weeks please know that your application has been unsuccessful
