The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of management experience in the financial services sector, with expertise in dealing with SARS-related issues, financial reporting, accounting, and department management. Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and timely submission of accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. SARS Compliance: Manage all SARS-related issues, including tax filings, audits, and ensuring compliance with South African tax regulations. Financial Accounting: Lead the financial accounting function, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial records and transactions. Department Management: Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the companys assets and ensure financial integrity. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the companys goals. Cost Management: Monitor and control costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency and savings. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Masters preferred). Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of management experience in the financial services industry.
