Job Summary
Requirements:
Matric. Plumbing Trade Test is essential . 3 years work experience in Plumbing. 1 year hotel/ hospitality environment experience is essential. Knowledge: Pluming Electrical. Water filtration. General Maintenance
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, Fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, taps and geysers. Unblocking and maintaining of all drainpipes. Installing of pumps and fittings. Actioning of Preventative maintenance. To ensure clean water plant is always in optimal Condition. Assisting Maintenance team with repairs and breakdowns where needed. Spot checks on inspected arrival rooms. Daily inspections on hot water systems (boilers). Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefittings, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing. Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems. Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair. Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building. Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes. Writes report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken. Performs inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts. Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
