- Valid Hard Rock Blasting Certificate
- Valid Onsetters/ Banksman Certificate
- Minimum 2-Years as a Shaft Timberman experience
Key performance areas
- Shaft examination and maintenance
- Management of blasting operations
- Compliance to Safety Legislation
- Examination of haulages and drain holes
- Maintenance of shaft station equipment (rails switches winches etc.)
