Job Summary
Technical Competencies & Experience: Maintain and update sailing schedules. 1-2 Years experience in the shipping industry. Manage and monitor bookings with shipping lines, including daily stack date monitoring. Process bookings and send booking confirmations to customers. Handle hazardous applications and paperwork. Invoice customers and process creditor invoices. Submit RCG to SARS. Track container movements and cargo release dates. Handle AMS filing for the USA and ENS filing for Europe. Issue telex releases as per SOP. Behavioural Competencies: Good communication skills verbal & written. Organization and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Initiative and a sense of urgency. Proactive and self-starter. High attention to detail. Skilled at multitasking.
