Job Summary

A great mining company in Limpopo is seeking the expertise of an Engineering Leader to join their team in Steelpoort, Limpopo.

Responsibilities

Contributing to the operational areas performance, through the enhancement of functional best practice.
Overseeing all engineering work for the effective functioning of operations, shafts, plants and surface infrastructure
Resolve cross function operating conflicts through the development of processes, standards and directives
Ensure that the mines SHERQ policy, rules and regulations are complied with throughout the area of responsibility
Evaluate through a series of analysis negative trends both equipment and people related and introduce remedial solutions.
Ensuring the maintenance of equipment to the required standards.

Requirements

Grade 12
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
GCC Mines and Works
MBA / MBL
Registration as Engineer with ECSA
8 – 12 years experience in an underground mining environment
