Job Summary
A great mining company in Limpopo is seeking the expertise of an Engineering Leader to join their team in Steelpoort, Limpopo.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to the operational areas performance, through the enhancement of functional best practice.
- Overseeing all engineering work for the effective functioning of operations, shafts, plants and surface infrastructure
- Resolve cross function operating conflicts through the development of processes, standards and directives
- Ensure that the mines SHERQ policy, rules and regulations are complied with throughout the area of responsibility
- Evaluate through a series of analysis negative trends both equipment and people related and introduce remedial solutions.
- Ensuring the maintenance of equipment to the required standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- GCC Mines and Works
- MBA / MBL
- Registration as Engineer with ECSA
- 8 – 12 years experience in an underground mining environment
