Job Summary
A great mining company in Steelpoort, Limpopo is seeking the expertise of a VOHE Officer to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of Occupational Hygiene and Ventilation systems and programme
- Implementation of Ventilation and occupational hygiene standards, working guides and procedures
- Implementation and maintenance of Occupational Hygiene Codes of Practice
- Condition of ventilation and occupational hygiene equipment and instruments
- Audit and assessment of Emergency Preparedness and Programmes
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Advanced MEC Certificate
- Diploma / Degree in Environmental Health
- Member of the Mine Ventilation Society of South Africa and / or registration as Occupational Hygienist with the South African Institute of Occupational Hygiene
- 6 – 8 years experience in a mining environment
