Job Summary
Mine Maintenance Plant Engineer (GCC Mines) Thabazimbi – Rneg + Ben
- GCC mines & works.
- Diploma or degree in the engineering field
- MDP or equivalent will be
- Formal training in planned maintenance will be an
- Legal accountability with a 2.13.1 legal appointment in terms of the MHSA
- Manage the Engineering department and to carry the legal responsibility in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Job Description
- Experience on process plant or platinum concentrator.
- Equipment maintenance systems
- Pumps, pipe systems for slurry and clear water
- Bulk materials handling (conveyor belts and associated systems)
- Classification equipment (screening, DMS drum, cyclones
- Comminution equipment (crushing, milling)
- To work overtime and attend to breakdowns.
- Must reside in close proximity to the operations. (Thabazimbi area)
- Implement planned maintenance system.
- Management of critical spares inventory
- Performance assessment of foremen and artisans
- The position will report directly to the plant manager.
- Manage capital projects.
