Job Summary
A great mining company in Thabazimbi, Limpopo is seeking the expertise of a Shaft Foreman to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Effective operation and supervision of the vertical shaft during a shift
- Effective administration of systems
- Ensure effective maintenance of equipment and infrastructure in area of responsibility
- Effective movement of men, materials and ore to support operational performance and safety
- Ensure that operating standards and procedures are applied and understood by the team
- Monitor contractor work in area
- Support and participate in the training and development requirements of employees in the area
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Blasting Certificate
- Onsetter Certificate
- 5 – 7 Years experience in an underground shaft mining environment
