Job Summary
A great mining company in KwaZulu Natal is seeking the expertise of a General Engineering Superintendent to join their team.
Essential
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- N4 Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical / Millwright / Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Boilermaker Trade Test Certificate
- 6 – 8 years experience in a coal mining environment
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and interpret planned/unplanned maintenance results, assess deviation and initiate corrective action.
- Assess and report on maintenance efficiency and implement action plans to address problem areas/deficiencies.
- Team management, including the optimisation of manpower utilization and efficiency, conflict management and team training and development.
- Ensure conformance with budget and cost effectiveness.
- To ensure that mine procedures and standards are adhered to in order to facilitate a safe and healthy work environment.
