Job Summary
Hire Resolve, a well-established recruitment agency, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate to join our client`s team as a Software Support and Tester. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working in the Gauteng area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and professional support to clients, as well as ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through testing.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional assistance to clients via email and phone.
- Document all client queries in TFS for tracking purposes.
- Efficiently manage multiple client issues while adhering to predefined deadlines.
- Ensure client issues are resolved within the service level agreement (SLA).
- Conduct testing of desktop and web-based software.
Requirements:
- High school diploma (Matric) and experience in support or testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to follow up persistently on deadlines and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills for fostering positive relationships.
- Numerical accuracy.
- Possess a car and a valid driver`s license.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL, Windows, Microsoft TFS, and desktop/web applications.
- Knowledge of the financial sector environment.
- Familiarity with SQL statements and Crystal Report Writer.
- ISTQB Certification is a plus.
- Experience in documentation (test cases, release notes, user guides/manuals).
- Strong customer service orientation.
