Job Summary
Hire Resolves` client is looking for a Software Support and Tester to join their team. The team require a first contact person who should ensure the smooth and trouble-free client communications.
The ideal candidate should display the necessary assistance, professionalism and expertise. A first contact person should show a willingness to persevere and complete a task, despite difficult circumstances with a capacity for coping with stressful conditions and adversity, even when these situations are prolonged. Keeping the communication channels open so that client is fully informed at all times. When not supporting, testing software.
Responsibilities:
- Professional assistance of clients both via email and telephonically.
- Processing all queries into TFS
- Time efficient management of multiple client problems/issues/queries.
- Ensure that clients are helped with an issue until it is resolved and within the SLA.
- Need to adhere to predefined deadlines.
- Testing Experience (Desktop and Web-based)
Requirements:
- Work shifts when required
- Matric and some sort of testing of support experience
- Strong Communicator and display good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate
- Persistent in following up with deadlines and providing outstanding customer service
- Maintain positive relationships, internal and external
- Strong numerical ability (accuracy)
- Own car and drivers license
- Team player
- Knowledge of following software:
- Microsoft SQL
- Windows and Windows Services
- Microsoft TFS
- Desktop and Web based applications
- Knowledge of the Financial sector environment
- Knowledge of SQL statement and Crystal report writer an advantage
- ISTQB Certification
- Documentation Experience (Test Cases, Release Notes, Business Requirement
- Specifications, User guides / Manuals
