Job Summary
Education & Experience: Matric, NQF Skills Development Facilitation / Assessor / Moderator qualification Must be computer literate Valid drivers license is required Own reliable transport Minimum of 3 years` experience as a Training Officer or Equivalent position within the mining or engineering industry Skills and Competencies: Knowledge and understanding of Safety practices, skills development acts and related legislations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with management, clients, customers and employees Good analytical and problem-solving skills Above average computer skills MS Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint presentations Ability to gather, compile, analyze and report on statistical data Service orientated and team player Key Responibilities: To liaise with management and clients regarding legal compliance training Gather information, analyze current skills, conduct a gap analyzis, identify training needs in accordance with training expiry dates and job requirements Compile and present the training plan and schedules in accordance with needs identifies, to senior management and site management for consideration and apporval Liaise with training service providers obtain quotes for planned and approved training, facilitate purchase orders in accordance with the procurement procedures Arrange and facilitate in house induction and training at various business units/sites. Recordkeeping training, expenses, invoices, certificates, minutes of meetings etc. Upload training certificates on the SHE folder in one drive as and when training is conducted These are just some of the duties, but not limited to additional requirements.
