Job Summary
Profile Requirements B-Tech in Civil Engineering/BSc degree would be an advantage Experience: 5 years experience in a Heavy Industry. Civils, Roads, Structural steel, Redundant Equipment removal, Upgrade and upkeep of current structures and buildings, Strong knowledge of construction and maintenance practice and processes, materials and techniques. In-depth understanding of industry and building regulations Scoping of repairs to existing structures. Performing work in heavy industries will be beneficial. Recognition for prior learning will be considered/given Condition assessments and technical report writing Key Performance Areas: Manage HSEC requirements for all service providers at Mondi: Civils, roads, rails, plumbing and structural steel, Scoping of works and drafting of method statements for various Business Units: Structural repairs, removal of redundant structures and equipment, Road repairs, Concrete work, earthworks. Understanding of various materials of construction required for building, concrete and piping repairs, Perform structural and building inspections, compile condition assessment reports and consolidate a corrective action plan catering to all defects, Perform a variety of routine civil and related maintenance activities management of PMMPs, Quality assurance manage contractor hold points, perform regular inspections, and consolidate closure reports, Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that work is being completed according to specifications and quality standards. Promote safety, health and environmental issues. Accurate reporting.
