Job Summary

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Food and Beverage management within a camp/ lodge environment
- Namibian nationals ONLY
- Sound understanding of the ethos of bush life with respect and compassion for conservation and ecotourism
- Must have sound experience and knowledge of F&B departments and FOH beneficial
- Must have an exceptional command of the English language as well as communication and active listening skills
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills
- Must have the need to meet and exceed guest’s expectations and will go above and beyond to accommodate them
- Someone who is smart, dedicated, professional, initiative and self-motivated
- Must be well motivated and an enthusiastic individual who is a great team-player
- Must be positive and have a guest-centric mindset
- Must have good knowledge of stock levels, storerooms and control systems
- Must have good knowledge of food and food preparation standards
- Outstanding staff relation and motivation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Good delegation skills and ability to manage colleagues of a diverse workforce
- Must be accountable and have a responsible nature
- Must be fully computer literate and have experience working on POS and reservation systems
