Description: Hire Resolve`s client is currently seeking a Mine Planner (Medium-Term) to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. As a Mine Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining medium-term mine plans, ensuring they are aligned with operational objectives, resource availability, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Create medium-term mine plans based on geological data and mining requirements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize production and resource utilization.
Monitor and update mine plans to accommodate changes in mining conditions, equipment availability, and market demands.
Conduct regular site visits to gather data and assess operational performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Provide technical guidance and support to mining engineers and operational teams.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Bachelor`s Degree in Mining Engineering.
5 years` experience as a Mine Planner in the mining industry.
Rock Breaking Certificate.
Competency A / Legal Liability (Advantageous)
Proficiency in modelling software and analytical skills.
Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
